Adventure-Life Church:
Love God, Love Others, Serve the World

Loving God - We will be a people dedicated to growing in relationship with God through Christ-centered teaching, Bible study, and Spirit-led transformation.

Imagine a people responding to God because of
his love, and showing love to one another in
nurturing relationships and reaching out in love to
      those we serve.

Loving Others - We will be a people intentional in building relationships with one another, striving to live out the Acts 2 lifestyle.

Imagine people coming together to share joys and
sorrows, helping each other grow in their faith, and
building each other up in prayer.

Serving the World - We will be a mission-minded people, actively shining the light of God’s love in our community and around the world.  We will take bold steps of faith individually and corporately to further his kingdom at every opportunity.

Imagine a church of people of all ages and various
backgrounds serving together to empower the
poor, strengthen the weak, and bring hope to the
      lost and broken-hearted.

Mission Day Camp

A Children’s Ministry Mission Day Camp was held on June 17-19 at Adventure Life.  Seventeen children participated while learning about RCA missions in Appalachia, Mexico, and Africa.  Each day’s mission destination was highlighted by leaders and helpers who shared their experiences on mission trips to those places.  The children also sang songs, completed several crafts, played games, and tasted foods from the mission destination of the day.  In the afternoon the children became missionaries themselves as they completed gardening projects around the church and made cards to thank and encourage people close to them and in the church.  Another afternoon was spent making cookies to take to the Mitchell Village Care Center where the kids helped the residents play Bingo.  On the final afternoon the kids took a bike ride for donations of soccer balls, back packs, pencils, and toothbrushes/paste they had brought to be taken to Save Orphans Ministry in Malawi, Africa by the 2008 Africa Mission Team.  They also made 125 friendship bracelets for the African children.
