Do You Have a Christmas Heart? 
“Love”  

Do we forget whose birthday it really is?

Luke 2:8-14

Christmas Love:

1.  God know you, and you are important to Him.

“Brothers, think of what you were when you were called.   
Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many
were influential; not many were of noble birth.  But God 
chose the foolish things of this world to shame the wise; 
God chose weak things of the world to shame the strong.  
He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised
things…”                                       1 Corinthians 1:26-28a

“The foolishness of God is wiser than man’s wisdom, and 
the weakness of God is stronger than man’s strength.”      

                                                       1 Corinthians 1:25  

2.  Your life matters, because God loves you.

“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus 
to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us 
to do.”                                            Ephesians 2:10

Everybody’s life counts for something.

3.  We love because God loves us.

“We love because he first loved us.”            1 John 4:19

4.  Love is a Choice

 “…That you may love the Lord your God, listen to his 
voice, and hold fast to him.  For the Lord is your life, and 
he will give you many years in the land he swore to give 
to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”    
                                                         Deuteronomy 30:20
