Ministry to children is grounded in the desire to
share the good news of Jesus
Christ with children and is a result of the vows made by the congregation
upon
the baptism of a child.
Children are ministered to in a safe, loving, and accepting environment
that
honors Christ and His Church at all times.
Each child is honored and respected
as a unique creation of God.
Children form relationships with Jesus, adult leaders/teachers/mentors,
and
each other through classroom experiences and special events.
Children experience age appropriate, biblically based lessons
demonstrating a
variety of learning methods and situations.
Children are taught and led by those who are growing
in their faith as they
regularly attend worship, study the Bible and seek God’s will for their
lives.
Parents are supported and encouraged to take an active role in the
Christian
education of their children through regular communication,
parent education,
and involvement in Children’s Ministry programs and events.
